Kythe Foundation is a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illnesses.
They are a group of trained professionals providing the Child Life Services. As the only foundation in the Philippines offering the Kythe Child Life Services, they have provided psychosocial support to over 18,000 children with cancer and other chronic illnesses and to their families since 1992.
Together with Kythe’s hospital partners, donors and volunteers, they aim to promote healing and growth.
Kythe aims to inspire hope.
Christmas Wish: The medical play toys will help educate the kids about their illness and this will also help alleviate their stress and anxiety while undergoing treatment.
Most of their financial resources go to their treatment, thus, they can't afford to buy things they need in school. The bags can be used for a long time, even beyond schooling.
The coloring books and coloring materials will help the kids ease their boredom while being confined in the hospital for a long period of time. These will also help in stimulation of their cognition, particularly, their creativity, while enjoying the activity.
