Davao Durians Rugby Football Club (Davao Rugby) is a community sports club that uses sports as a platform for advocating and running programs for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults from harm and abuse. Through Sports for Development (S4D), it also pursues other development objectives such as health, social cohesion, gender equity, violence prevention, youth employability, volunteerism, and leadership.
Davao Rugby aims to bring Davaoeños together through grassroots rugby development and improve lives and communities. It pursues excellence in the field of sports to become a more prominent icon in influencing both sports and non-sports institutions alike for its mission and advocacies which are more than the sport itself. As it is a 100% volunteer-run organization and partners with institutions catering to at-risk children and less-privileged sectors, it needs the community's support to accomplish its goal vis-a-vis limited resources.
Christmas Wish: Sports equipment to help the team and their partners in their learning and training sessions. This will also help them grow and become more sustainable, in effect bringing more children and participants into their programs.
