Madaris Volunteer Program (MVP) is an initiative of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), in partnership with the National Association for Bangsamoro Education, Inc. (NABEI), and implemented by the Ateneo de Davao University.
The MVP aims to improve the quality of education in the areas of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) by fostering a new environment of shared learning, respect, and cooperation between and among Islamic and Catholic schools. The MVP provides volunteer teachers to privately managed Islamic schools (madrasah, pl. madaris), conducts various trainings for madaris teachers and administrators, and advocates peacebuilding through education and friendship.
The program has 24 partner madaris in the cities of Cotabato, Zamboanga and Marawi, and in the provinces of Maguindanao, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, Sulu, and Davao Oriental.
