Sign Language Interpreters of Davao Region (SLI-DaR) is a non-profit organization that advocates for the rights of the Deaf community in Davao Region, Philippines, and promotes the use of Filipino Sign Language (FSL) as a means of communication. The organization is comprised of FSL interpreters, FSL interpreter aspirants, students, parents, and advocates who work together to improve access to communication and basic services for the Deaf community.
Christmas Wish: Tablets to be used in providing Video Relay Interpreting (VRI). (VRI) is a form of sign language interpreting that allows people who are Deaf or hard of hearing to communicate with a Sign Language Interpreter via videoconferencing instead of live, on-site interpreting.
