The Coalition of Services of the Elderly, Inc. (COSE) is a non-government organization working with the older persons in urban and rural communities through community organizing, advocacy and networking, and capacity building to support them in addressing issues and concerns that are affecting their lives. COSE implements programs and activities on Health and Active Aging, Livelihood, Protection and Inclusion (rights & entitlements), and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). COSE’s Group Home is mostly resided by abandoned older women.
Bring light and love to their Christmas by making it known that someone cares for them. COSE’s wish is to be equipped with a laptop in order to monitor data and information of residents. The laptop will also greatly help with their online activities such as consultations with doctors, meetings and administrative tasks in running the Group Home.
Christmas is a time of love, giving, and being there for one another. Let us show gratitude to our elderly and make them feel that they are still a vital part of our society!
