Start your 2025 with a heart. Join us for a fun and creative afternoon with children in Paranaque City.
ACAP Visual Art Workshop is a weekly art activity held every Wednesday afternoon in one of the mission areas of Paranaque City. It aims to bring the creative expression of children, build self-confidence, develop critical thinking, foster social connections, and promote environmental awareness.
Art activities include drawing, painting, collage, and recycled art.
As a volunteer, you will assist the ACAP Art Program Officer in setting up the venue, and snack preparations, and guide children during the sessions.
Activity schedule:
2:00 - 2:30 Briefing and orientation
2:30 - 2:40 Travel to the venue
2:40 - 3:00 Venue set-up
3:00 - 4:15 Art session proper
4:15 - 4:30 Debriefing
Meet-up: All volunteers need to come first to the ACAP Office at Unit A, Road 1, Meliton Espiritu Compound, Brgy. San Antonio, Paranaque City: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XCZvYw1TXCdQjjVW8
Landmark: Ramon Pascual Institute. ACAP Office is located at the back of RPI.
When commuting: From Dr. Santos LRT station, ride a jeepney or UV Express going to Sucat, then get off at Ramon Pascual Institute.
From Sucat Highway (Padis Point/DPWH side), ride a jeepney going to Kabihasnan /or Baclaran, then get off at Ramon Pascual Institute.
