Volunteer Event
Do you like volunteering at events? Do you like talking to people? Would you want to be part of something good? Volunteer for our forum on Tuesday! =)
Tindog Tayo 2016: A Presidential Forum for a Resilient Philippines, organized by DRRNet (a network of NGOs like ACCORD engaged in disaster risk reduction) is the first of its kind in the country. It will focus on issues of disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation (CCA), and environmental protection. Presidential candidates will be given a venue to discuss their platforms, particularly on how well they will address the needs of vulnerable sectors and how they will enhance existing DRR policies and institutions in the country.
We are looking for:
30 marshals (preferably male) = they will help keep the event organized and secure, setup materials, etc
25 ushers (male or female) = will guide guests to their seats, man registration, take questions from the audience, etc.
Call time at the venue will be at 9AM for briefing / setup. We will provide t-shirts and IDs, but please do come in white shirts. Food is on us. =)
Join us and help make our forum a success. Sign-up now at bit.ly/accordvolunteerinfo and email your resume to masacupan@accord.org.ph. We will get back to you with more details shortly.
