iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. We continue to develop and maintain tools and systems that will encourage more Filipinos to volunteer.
Role description:
Lead iVolunteer’s community based projects and external events that will promote volunteerism and engage volunteers
Coordinate with the post documentation of the project
Help manage volunteers with the volunteer manager before, during and after the event
Coordinate with the Content Coordinator for much needed support to expand reach to volunteers via social media
Assist in providing/recommending content that will be used in the community for volunteer engagement and education
Attend regular alignment meetings and organization lead events
Competencies required:
1. Has experience in event and project management.
2. Good written communication both in Filipino and English.
3. Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country.
4. Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and collaborates effectively being part of a team.
5. Is professional and accountable as a volunteer.
Volunteers who will sign up for the role shall be scheduled for a short online interview.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the orientation.
