We need Website UX Designer!
iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. We continue to develop and maintain tools and systems that will encourage more Filipinos to volunteer.
Role description:
1. Understand our web user journey and personas, starting with pre-collected user information and usage data.
2. Understand the organizational goals of iVolunteer specially on volunteer-user experience, and how we can re-organize iVolunteer data structure, site navigation and features to support the intended user experience.
3. Willing to be active in iVolunteer’s volunteering activities and participate in our internal activities.
4. Collaborate closely with the rest of the technology team as well as the rest of iVolunteer to deliver the design and translate it to process and website change.
Competencies required:
1. Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
2. Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and collaborates effectively being part of a team
3. Has good understanding of website development processes and technologies, specially on user interface design and development on what is feasible and not.
4. Able to conduct user research, gather and analyze user data, translate to mock-ups and eventually work with our developers to prototype and build.
5. Highly preferred to have UI / front-end development experience and skills.
