We need a Budget Manager for our iVoluntree Project!

iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. We continue to develop and maintain tools and systems that will encourage more Filipinos to volunteer. iVoluntree is our annual project happening towards the Holiday Season. It aims to raise funds for 20-30 of our nonprofits’ community wishlist. 

Role description:

1. Understand iVolunteer’s flagship project every Holiday Season -- iVoluntree, it’s goals and importance to both iVolunteer and our community partners. 

2. Be detail oriented in tracking donations and attributing the donation to which fund-raising campaign. Able to provide weekly reports of fundraising progress.

3. Willing to be active in iVolunteer’s volunteering activities and participate in our internal activities.

4. Collaborate closely with the rest of the iVoluntree project team to successfully grant the wishes of our community partners.

5. Collect hand-over documentation including but not limited to proof of purchase and use of the raised funds as well as proof of receipt of donated items (photos, videos of handover). Volunteer Budget Manager will not be the one to physically document each and every hand-over, but will be responsible for following up our partners for the said documents. 

Competencies required:

1. Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country

2. Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and collaborates effectively being part of a team

3. Detail-oriented. 

4. Preferably has managed similar fund-raising activities before and have proven effective in tracking, reporting and attributing collected and disbursed funds.
