iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. We continue to develop and maintain tools and systems that will encourage more Filipinos to volunteer.
Background/Introduction/Purpose:
The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. In order to establish such a culture, the organization has to effectively communicate and engage volunteers across all channels. This position will help you understand how to effectively manage different types of volunteers and what types of projects or capacity building programs we shall need to extend our reach through different platforms and continuously develop volunteers, at whatever point they are in their volunteering journey.
Role & Responsibility
Support iVolunteer’s Facebook group by managing the overall operations of the community
Assist in iVolunteer’s community based projects and external events that will promote volunteerism and engage volunteers
Help manage volunteers with the volunteer manager and mitigate and address concerns
Grow the community by inviting new members and groups as well as cross-posting Tara, Volunteer Tayo! content on other volunteer portals.
Assist in providing/recommending content that will be used in the community for volunteer engagement and education
Proactively contribute to iVolunteer’s strategies on volunteer engagement and development, and impact making by helping identify rooms for improvement and recommending ideas on how iVolunteer can better serve the TVT community.
Engage with the rest of Volunteer Engagement and Development (VED) Pillar to improve the quality and distribution of content and attend regular alignment meetings and organization’s events
Volunteers who will sign up for the role shall be scheduled for a short interview. Only shortlisted candidates shall be invited for the Orientation thereafter.
