Skwela Salida is MEM's community film literacy online platform that aims to turn film screenings from passive viewing to active learning experiences by connecting personal reflection to social responsibility. Each curated Mindanao short film in the catalog comes with a lesson co-designed by volunteers. This makes the program true to its community-centered values. Skwela Salida is one of the Top 3 Social Innovations in the 2023 Social Innovation Challenge of iVolunteer Philippines.
