Heads up Volunteers from Davao City!
iVolunteer Philippines is looking for Quality and Development Officers to support its operations in Mindanao.
Since its inception, iVolunteer’s activities were mostly centralized in Metro and Mega Manila. However, in order to reach iVolunteer’s DREAM of having Every Filipino Volunteering towards Nation-Building, it is imperative to start building our volunteer communities in other regions in the country.
The project will last for three (3) months and will focus on ensuring the organizational growth and development of iVolunteer Philippines Mindanao.
Role description:
Engage with Mindanao Regional Pillar to contribute to regional development and expansion, focusing on delivering quality assurance support
Create quality training and development materials to deliver various training programs
Assist iVolunteer partners and internal staff, as necessary
Conduct assessments for evaluation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Maintain a safe record of quality assurance documents and reports under the Mindanao Regional Pillar to monitor and evaluate impact
Connect with the iVolunteer Community, by gaining a deep understanding of the organization's mission, goals, and core values.
Competencies Required:
Applicant should be based in Davao City
Good oral and written communication in Filipino, English and the Local Language
Have knowledge or volunteer experience in Mindanao
Experience in instruction is an advantage
Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and has an ability to work with little to no supervision
Volunteers who will sign up for the role shall be scheduled for a short online interview between February 5- February 9, 2024. Only shortlisted candidates shall be invited for the Physical Orientation on February 11, 2024.
