Support our English Literacy Program. We want to help the parents of our BINHI Scholars on how to become effective guardians by learning how to cope post-pandemic.

About the Project

Founded in 2008, Binhi English Literacy Foundation Inc. (BINHI) aims to improve English reading skills to identified non- and frustrated readers aged between 4-9 years old in public elementary schools and community centers.

The program runs for 24 weeks. Parent participation is an important key to the program's success. BINHI encourages parents to attend orientations and assemblies for relative alignment of goals. For this month, we will be providing a webinar with a topic of “Risk & Resilience Post-Pandemic”.

Qualifications and Requirements

Before becoming a BINHI Speaker, one must pass the following criteria:

an advocate of literacy and independent learning with keen observation skills
a graduate of BS Psychology, BS Sociology or any related degree
has prior experience facilitating webinars or seminars to parents
willing to commit at least a week of his/her time for the preparation and actual conduct of the webinar on May 13, 2023
must have a gadget and access to a stable internet connection
must be knowledgeable of Facebook Live used for online webinar

Timeline of Activities

May 8-9: Initial meeting and pre-screening of candidates
May 10-11: Submission of initial draft and revision of the presentation
May 12: Submission of the final presentation
May 13: Tech test and actual webinar

Expect to receive an email at most 2 days upon signing up with the rest of the details.
