Solar Hope is an NGO that provides solar and sustainable solutions to marginalized communities in the Philippines. Since 2017, they have lighted more than 2000 homes in remote and unelectrified areas in Region IV.

Project Tanglaw is Solar Hope's household electrification project that aims to light the households of remote and unelectrified areas. For the past years, Solar Hope has partnered with various organizations in Project Tanglaw and many of the organizations are interested to know how to also replicate what we do in their respective communities.

So the team have thought of conducting a Tanglaw Workshop wherein Solar Hope will be sharing the whole process of Project Tanglaw from conceptualization, planning, fundraising, social preparation up to the project execution. Solar Hope will also be training the participants on how to properly orient the communities in using and installing the solar home systems.

Hence, we need your help by being part of our Tanglaw Workshop Team!

Volunteering Objectives:
(Every volunteer could be involved in at least one of these activities)
1. Host - can share, lead or host the seminar event/workshop

2. Event Organizer - can lead in organizing the event from event place, Time and Date, Participants, Guests, etc.

3. Event assistance - assist the Event Organizer and can share ideas for the improvement on the event.

4. Documentation - take photos and videos of the event and can create a short video or highlights of the event.

5. Games and Activities - lead the games and activities for the participants.
