Do you love teaching and interacting with teens?

Kythe Online Teen Meets are designed to make room for adolescents to learn, play, and grow despite their condition.

Join our team of volunteers who create modules facilitated through online teen meets, for 12-18 years old, with cancer and other chronic illnesses:

Preferably with background in teaching teens, lesson planning, module creation for teens
Can commit within the given timeline below
As part of the volunteer team, you will have an opportunity to interact with the kids and see the module you created in action!

Tools needed:

Desktop/laptop and stable internet connection as this is our main channel of communication
Google Sheet
Google Docs
Zoom
Facebook Messenger
Canva Pro

Expected Output: 1-Hour module with the following program flow:

Mood check
Main activity (Games, getting to know activity, science experiment, arts and crafts, trivia games etc)
Feedback (5-point likert scale)
Closing Activity

Timeline:

August 12 - Briefing and training
August 28 - Deadline of module output
Optional: Join and facilitate online Teen Meets for patients from different Kythe-affiliated hospitals in October
