The Baler Mangrove and Seagrass Sanctuary is a protected area located in Baler, Aurora Province, in the Philippines. It is a coastal conservation site that aims to preserve and restore the mangrove forests and seagrass beds in the area, which are crucial ecosystems for marine life. Mangroves are salt-tolerant trees or shrubs that grow along coastlines and estuaries. They provide a vital habitat for numerous species of fish, birds, and other wildlife. Mangrove forests also act as a buffer zone, protecting the shoreline from erosion and minimizing the impact of storms and waves.
