iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. As an NGO governed under the Philippine Laws, we are required to maintain books and report financial status to the government and our stakeholders.

Project name/title: Videographers

Background/Introduction/Purpose: The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. To achieve this, the organization has to constantly generate relevant content (videos and photo collections included) that appeal to the volunteer community and the general public.

Role description:

• Produce videos for iVolunteer’s Youtube Channel
• Take initiative to document some of your encounters with the volunteering community through videos & micro stories
• Coordinate with partner NGOs and volunteers before and during assignments
• Coordinate with the channel manager for projects and assignments
• Assist in providing/recommending content that will be used in our youtube channel for volunteer engagement & education
• Ensure timeliness of submission of deliverables
• Attend regular alignment meetings and organization lead events

Competencies required:

• Has experience in video coverage and has a mastery of his/her work tool
• Can construct story boards and has mastery in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Corel VideoStudio, Sony Vegas, or other video editing tools
• Good written communication both in Filipino and English
• Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
• Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and collaborates effectively being part of a team
• Is professional and accountable as a volunteer
