Coastal Clean up and Nature Walk Activity at LPPCHEA

Help us restoring the 175 hectare wetland of Las Pinas – Paranaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area, known as the “last frontier” in Metro Manila and the first critical habitat established in the Philippines.  

Project Objectives:

  • Help and teach volunteers to identify trash.
  • Raise awareness of the importance of consumption lifestyle
     
  • Lessen the bad effects of climate change by expressing our concern to the environment
  • Bring people closer to the waste problem for  them to see it first hand and encourage them to change personal habit

Details:

  • Registration fee : Php 300.00 (permit processing and honorarium and food of Assigned Park Rangers)
  • Carpooling : 500.00 - Cubao - LPPCHEA. VV (wala pong public transportation going to LPPCHEA)
  • NOTE: ONLY FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS ARE ALLOWED TO JOIN

Proper Attire:

  • Dark-colored , off shaded clothes
  • Pants
  • Shoes or Rainboots
  • Cap or anything to cover your head from the sun

Participants Need to Bring:

  • Gardening gloves “Reusable or Rubber”
  • Sacks
  • Extra clothes (shirt, pants and footwear)
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Personal First Aid kit
  • tongs (Optional but recommended)
  • Water tumbler
  • Face towel or handkerchief
  • Raincoat or Umbrella

Q: Can children or high school student volunteers register?
A: Yes, but Minors must be accompanied by an authorized adult guardian(s).

Q: Can I wear colorful and loud colors?
A: If you plan to do bird watching It is highly not recommended as bright colors
