F2F classes are beginning—and a number of impoverished families across the Philippines are struggling yet again to equip their children with adequate school supplies. To remedy this in our own humble way, Tulong Karunungan has initiated a fundraiser in which, with each PHP 250 donation, one student receives 10 notebooks, 14 pencils, two rulers, two erasers, two sharpeners, and an insulated lunchbox sufficient for the entire school year.
The organization does this by contacting wholesale suppliers who are able to provide these goods in large quantities, for cheap.
As F2F classes are approaching, the organization would like to reach more public schools in the Philippines. We are calling on volunteers that will help us:
Promote posts regarding our fundraisers by liking, sharing, commenting, and tagging family and friends
Encourage their connections—whether familial, amical, organizational, or corporate—to donate
