Be part of the iVolunteer Philippines staff! We need iVolunteer Event Manager!
iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. We continue to develop and maintain tools and systems that will encourage more Filipinos to volunteer.
Role description:
- Lead iVolunteer’s community based projects and external events that will promote volunteerism and engage volunteers
- Coordinate with the post documentation of the project
- Help manage volunteers with the volunteer manager before, during and after the event
- Coordinate with the Content Coordinator for much needed support to expand reach to volunteers via social media
- Assist in providing/recommending content that will be used in the community for volunteer engagement and education
- Attend regular alignment meetings and organization lead events
Competencies required:
1. Has experience in event and project management
2. Good written communication both in Filipino and English
3. Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
4. Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and collaborates effectively being part of a team
5. Is professional and accountable as a volunteer
