Volunteer Event
Objective of the event:
>> The event aims to encourage kids to think creatively and express themselves freely. It likewise promotes healthy interaction with other children (and adults as well) while learning new skills.
>> Volunteers will be the kuyas and ates of the kids for the day. They will be paired/grouped with the kids to assist the kids with the art workshop as well as participate in the different activities prepared throughout the whole event.
Beneficiary: Project Pearls
Project Pearls aim to help the poorest of the poor children in the Philippines have a better life through feeding and educational programs. Pearls stand for Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love, and Smiles. (www.projectpearls.org)
Other Details:
Once your slot is confirmed, just show up at the scheduled date/venue. Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing. You may bring a towel, water and change of clothes. Jewelry is not encouraged.
Fee: Minimal sponsor fee of Php 250 for adults and Php 150 for students. Fee includes your own food, personal ID, U! Happy Events Baller Band and a pen. Your partner kid will also get food, materials and gifts. Payments to be made on the day itself.
How to get to the venue: Brgy 106 Covered Court, Road 10, Tondo, Manila (Meet up at Manila Hotel Lobby, 9AM)

Public Transpo: From Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia), Makati Avenue, or Ayala Avenue, take bus to Taft Avenue/Lawton, and get off at Luneta/Rizal Park. Cross Taft Avenue, towards the side of Luneta/Rizal Park. When you get past Rizal Park, you will see the Quirino Grandstand. Right behind it is the Manila Ocean Park.
Private Vehicle: Take Roxas Blvd. going towards Manila route. Manila Hotel will be right across Luneta Park/Quirino Grandstand.
