The IUCN Red List of Endangered Species lists most flora and fauna into seven categories ranging from “Least Concern” to “Extinct”. These categories are based on the current population of the species, the population trend (whether it is increasing or decreasing and how rapidly, and the threats faced by those species. In celebration of Endangered Species Day on May 21 Saturday We humbly request volunteers to do a coastal clean-up in Navotas. Your registration is highly appreciated. Companies and groups will be given digital certificates of conservation and social responsibilities.
Itinerary
2 PM Assembly in Navotas (Details will be given to those who registered)
Community Orientation, Talk on Marine and Mangrove Ecosystem, Biodiversity and Conservation (Opportunity to donate snacks in paper bags NOT plastics. Nilagang saba will do) Recognition of volunteers, groups, and company.
3 PM Coastal Clean Up
4 PM Wash Up and Freshened Up, Message from Navotas Communities and group.
5 PM Photo Opps and Thank you to all.
Things to Bring: 1 litter REFFILABLE water bottle, bimpo or small towel for the back sweats, wide hats, extra set of clothes, Garbage Bag, scissors for entangled plastics, longnose or piles for the mangrove barnacles, Tong to pick up the trashes, shovel to get the hard garbage.
What to wear: close shoes or bota, long sleeves cotton shirt, leggings.
