What is 'Community Meet Up’?
Community Meet Up is a FREE event organized by iVolunteer Philippines to help volunteers who have already started their volunteering journey unto the next step. This run is in collaboration with our partner NGO - Kythe Foundation, Inc.! Take your volunteering journey further while:
- Helping iVolunteer’s partner NGO and hearing their inspiring stories while volunteering
- Getting tips and tricks on how to volunteer virtually
- Meeting fellow volunteers in a virtual space where you can network and collaborate
Who is the ‘Kythe Foundation, Inc.’?
Kythe is a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illnesses.
They are a group of trained professionals providing Child Life Services. As the only foundation in the Philippines offering the ‘Kythe Child Life Services’, they have provided psychosocial support to over 18,000 children with cancer and other chronic illnesses and their families since 1992.
Together with their hospital partners, donors and volunteers, they aim to promote healing and growth.
