Digital Tayo
Digital Tayo is Facebook’s digital literacy program in the Philippines that
launched in 2019. This program aims to build a community of responsible
digital citizens by training Filipinos essential skills on securing one’s privacy
and safety, communicating with empathy, and discerning information.
In 2021, Facebook launched Digital Tayo 2.0 to scale up the program and
foster positive online communities through new modules on engagement
and empowerment.
Community Engagement Playbook
The Community Engagement Playbook is an easy-to-use tool that will help
the youth engage with and advocate for issues that they care about. It
contains guides for taking action by sharing information, having
conversations with others, and coordinating with other groups.
Who can undergo training for the Community Engagement Playbook?
Members of youth- or student-led organizations (Exclusive to 2KK and partner youth groups)
What is the training journey for participants?
● An invitation will be sent to your organization's POC to schedule a
2-hour long training session of the Community Engagement Playbook
● Upon aligning on the date and time of the training session, a
registration form will be provided for your members to fill out.
● Those who registered will receive a calendar invite containing the zoom
link for the training.
● At the end of the training session, the participants will be prompted to
join the FB group created for community of youth advocates.
