What is 'Community Meet Up’?
Community Meet Up is a FREE event organized by iVolunteer Philippines to help volunteers who have already started their volunteering journey unto the next step. This run is in collaboration with our partner NGO - Kwentuhan Series! Take your volunteering journey further while:
Helping iVolunteer’s partner NGO and hearing their inspiring stories while volunteering
Getting tips and tricks on how to volunteer virtually
Meeting fellow volunteers in a virtual space where you can network and collaborate
Who is the ‘Kwentuhan Series’?
Kwentuhan Series is a local advocacy group based in Paete, Laguna that primarily aims to teach the love for books and of reading to children through fun and engaging activities such as storytelling that will gradually help in developing and improving their literacy skills, school performance, and life in general.
Since it is pandemic, they are currently transitioning to more online engagements. And with this, they are in need of an ‘Online Storyteller’ who can submit pre-recorded storytelling videos for the kids and their families to enjoy.
