Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children working in 120 countries around the world. In the Philippines, Save the Children has been working in collaboration with partners to achieve lasting changes in the lives of Filipino children through development and humanitarian projects.
The volunteers will be involved with the fundraising team’s emergency fundraising project. They will be inducted into Save the Children and added to an emergency phone banking roster. This roster will be activated in the case of an emergency. They volunteers will then be asked to make themselves available in the office to undertake telephone fundraising to fund our response efforts.
Volunteers will attend regular trainings and briefing sessions about our emergency fundraising plans. At the onset of an emergency, volunteers will man telephones for in-bound and outbound fundraising appeals during an emergency response.
