Project name/title: UX Designer
Background:
The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. One of the main platforms that iVolunteer uses to promote volunteerism is its website which was developed in 2011. The same website underwent reconstruction during the last quarter of 2015 and was relaunched together with the organization in March 2016.
As we continue to provide more features to improve our service to volunteers and communities, we need a person strong on design and user experience background to help us with keeping our products and services useful, usable and desirable.
Role description:
Study the current features, upcoming features and “in-the-pipeline” feature request for the iVolunteer website
Understand iVolunteer user groups (iVolunteer users, volunteers, and NGO partners) to ensure UX design is in-line with their user-goals
Provide User journey and then UX design recommendation to the tech team for implementation
Competencies required:
Experience with web UX design and or UI development
