Project name/title: Web Security Analyst
Background:
The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. One of the main platforms that iVolunteer uses to promote volunteerism is its website which was developed in 2011. The same website underwent reconstruction during the last quarter of 2015 and was relaunched together with the organization in March 2016.
Our website usage is increasing and protecting our organization’s data as well as of our users are ever becoming more important. We would need an expert help to analyze which areas in our website and technology processes can we improve to further strengthen our security measures.
Role description:
Study the current, upcoming features and “in-the-pipeline” features and infrastructure plans for iVolunteer website
Understand current processes of the technology team
Provide recommendations to strengthen software, infrastructure and processes for technology team
Competencies Required:
Web development experience, preferably on PHP language
Familiarity on CLoud infrastructure, preferably Azure and Linuux stack
Experience on vulnerability and risk assessments on web technologies
