Project name/title: UX Designer
Background:
The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. One of the main platforms that iVolunteer uses to promote volunteerism is its website which was developed in 2011. The same website underwent reconstruction during the last quarter of 2015 and was relaunched together with the organisation in March 2016.
As we continue to provide more features to improve our service to volunteers and communities, we need a person strong on design and user experience background to help us with keeping our products and services useful, usable and desirable.
Scope Statement (Expected results/desired outcomes)
To be able to provide UX designs for time volunteering, treasure volunteering and online volunteering features of ivolunteer website.
In a way that:
- Involves the tech UX/UI team, Tech Dev team, and other iVolunteer pillars in the design process.
- UX design is validated with users.
- UX design promotes more Filipinos volunteering more frequently.
