Background:
The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. One of the main platforms that iVolunteer uses to promote volunteerism is its website which was developed in 2011. The same website underwent reconstruction during the last quarter of 2015 and was relaunched together with the organisation in March 2016.
Our website usage is increasing and protecting our organization’s data as well as of our users are ever becoming more important. We would need an expert help to analyze which areas in our website and technology processes can we improve to further strengthen our security measures.
Scope Statement (Expected results/desired outcomes)
To be able to provide concrete and actionable recommendations to improve our data privacy and site security.
In a way that:
- Looks at security holistically: infrastructure, software, processes.
- Supports iVolunteer mission and strategy
- Is feasible for iVolunteer's scale of operations
