Volunteer Event
Every saturday, Teacher Fe gathers all kids from the community living under the bridge of Coastal Road to teach them basic lessons. Teacher Fe is doing this out of her desire to provide some education to the kids in the community. Many times, she’ll be handling a group of 30 to 40 kids at a time, so she really needs help! Volunteers will be very welcome to assist Teacher Fe conduct her free lessons to the kids under the bridge!
What: be an Ate or Kuya to Kids under the Bridge
When: every Saturday 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

From Edsa: Take Bus A or C going to MIA road. Get off at stop light at Tambo. Take a jeepney ride going to Zapote or Alabang via Quirino Ave. going to Don Galo. After the St. Andrew Cathedral is the La Huerta public market in front of Mercury Drug. Other landmarks include 711 that is beside P. Dandan street. Walk along P.Dandan towards Coastal road until you see the Bulungan area (market) under the Coastal road bridge
What do I need to do?
Teach kids through experiential learning, just be there with the kids, play with them, talk about how their week went. Activity sheets will be provided but feel free to bring your own learning materials.
You can bring your own laptop, cellphone,tablet or any gadgets to be used as your teaching device to give more encouragement and motivation for the latest technology.
What to wear?
Be in comfortable clothes. This will be done outdoors (open air) and on sometimes muddy flooring.
