Volunteer Event
Cost disclaimer: This is a paid volunteering opportunity and expenses (food and transportation) incurred during the volunteering period shall also be reimbursed. Length of volunteer engagement may vary depending on the need and shall also be the basis for the difference in honorarium between volunteers.
IsangBayanPH serves as part of a nationwide information campaign aimed at recruiting and educating youth leaders who will serve as peace influencers in their respective communities, schools, workplaces, and families. With this, we will be needing volunteers who can help us prepare for a successful and meaningful conference for young people.
Breakdown of volunteers needed:
- Secretariat (8) - Volunteers will help with the preparations of IDs and Kits and maintain communications with the participants and the speakers / guests.
- Food and Logistics (6) - Volunteers will be involved only during the conference, but an orientation shall be set by the conference coordinator before the event.
- Program (10) - Volunteers will be handling the overall program flow together with the conference coordinator.
**When: The conference is set to happen on January 25, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (We will be having team meetings prior to the conference - depends on the availability of the majority)
**Where: The venue is still being finalized but will definitely be just around UP Diliman area
**What is it for the volunteers: The volunteers will have the opportunity to learn more about peacebuilding initiatives from distinguished speakers who will be invited. For similar projects in the future, successful volunteers shall be prioritized in any undertaking.

Since this is a paid volunteering opportunity, we will be strict on commitments and deliverables for the preparation work. All volunteers who will commit and fail to deliver shall be red flagged and reported in this volunteering platform. We don't need industry experts.
