Through your volunteer work, 340 daycare workers of the province of Ifugao will have a copy of this manual as their reference for developing more instructional materials for S.Y. 2013-2014.
Around 6,000 Ifugao children enrolled in the Day Care Service in Ifugao will greatly benefit from the availability of more developmentally-appropriate instructional materials in their daycare centers.
This manual project is part of the Kaisa sa 0-6 program of Kaisa in partnership with the local government units of Ifugao.
Kaisa sa 0-6 is a national volunteering program for early childhood care and development in the Philippines.
Tasks:
reviews instructional materials and its corresponding material/activity plans sent by the provincial staff of Ifugao;
gives comments on or points for improvement of the instructional materials;
checks and approves revised instructional materials upon resubmission;and
coordinates regularly with the Kaisa sa 0-6 program director and assistant.
Qualifications:
graduate of BS Family Life and Child Development, Teaching in the Early Grades, or Elementary Education;
knowledgeable in teaching Science, Math or Literacy to young children;
dependable, creative and organized; and
has love for teaching, children, or community development work.
