Volunteer Event
Interns are expected to accomplish several tasks for the foundation. They will be given an opportunity to both contribute to current programs and to initiate their own project.
In its 17th year, the foundation has witnessed and screened several youth organizations across the country. True to its efforts to correctly document submitted works and information database, the foundation regularly maintains and arranges its documents. Nevertheless, it requires the help of its interns to properly and efficiently manage files and documents.
Moreover, TAYO Awards envisions to have a bigger and broader Search. It can only be done more effectively through the passionate work of its interns. This internship program will be developed in order to meet the high standards of the foundation. It is important that its interns know fully well that in order to achieve greatness, people must work together.
The following are the projects and tasks for each intern:
TAYO Promotional Strategies
Interns will have an opportunity to share the mission and vision of the foundation to the whole country and the world through their creative ideas and imagination. As interns, they will be assigned to conceptualize, design, and layout promotional collaterals to be used by the foundation from May to September. The outputs can be in the form of poster, social media cards, GIFs, videos, motion graphics, contest, etc. The interns, as lead for this, shall create studies to be presented to the TAYO secretariat. Upon approval, the interns will start creating their plans.
Fieldwork
Due to its hands-on nature, TAYO Awards visits several key locations in the country to witness the exemplary efforts of youth organizations through talks, fora, symposia, drives, and several other on-site projects. Selected interns may be invited to attend and help the Secretariat in these activities.
Database Maintenance
Office work in the internship program may include assistance in maintaining the Secretariat’s Youth Organization database, Marketing database, Partner database, and Entry Form database.
Op-Ed Articles
In order to make their experience more meaningful, interns are required to submit at least 2 Op-Ed articles which will be posted in the official website of the Foundation. TAYO values the concept of sharing and it is through writing that interns can voice out their opinions on a particular topic and how recent TAYO Awardees are able to positively contribute to their area of interest.
