Volunteer Event
The Red Whistle is a collaborative platform for people to come together and show their support to those living with HIV and AIDS. It is also an agent and partner for brands to show their support to HIV and AIDS advocacy.
#SaveSexy is the on-the-ground HIV and AIDS awareness campaign of The Red Whistle. Because of the alarming increasing rate of new HIV cases detected every day in the country, the organization has intensified this campaign by developing 3 sub-brands to it namely, #SaveSexyCityEvents, #SaveSexyU and #SaveSexyatWork. All these have the following objectives:
CONSCIOUS: We want everyone to make well-informed decisions, do healthy sex practices and be aware of HIV, AIDS and other STIs.
CONFIDENT: We want all to know their status and have confidence about it.
COMFORTABLE: We want everyone to be comfortable with discussing HIV and sexual health.
We aim to achieve these objectives through a gamified approach to provide a more conducive and fun way of learning about HIV and AIDS.
Volunteers for #SaveSexy will be helping out in the planned activities for the whole day in the chosen location. This may include joining the team events prepared by the organization, helping out in the logistics of the event, and/or helping out in during the CBS (community based screening) activity.
When and Where: TBA (This may involve late night campaigns or events as some of our corporate partners prefer to do the events at night because majority of their employees are on a graveyard shift)
Things to bring: Extra Clothes and Water
Suggested Attire: Anything comfortable
In the process of the whole day event, you will not only get to learn about HIV and AIDS and the current situation we have in the country. You will also be able to make connections and have fun with your teammates as you do the activities that were prepared by the organization. Plus, celebrity ambassadors will also join you during the said activities.
NOTE: For those who may not be comfortable talking about sex and any sexually related topics, please do know that this event includes such topics.
Should you have questions about this opportunity, feel free to drop a message or an email to the designated contact person. With that, we hope to see you there!
