What: Join us at the main program of the GO Volunteer Expo! Hear stories from our speakers about their own volunteering journey. For Saturday (April 6), we will be joined by Susan, Miguel and Bea. 

There are also performances from Spoken Poetry, Detour Duo and IKR.

Who is Susan Afan?

After 30+ years of working at Robert Half in the United States, Susan decided to retire and pursue other personal goals. She has been back in the Philippines leading ABS CBN Lingkod Foundation.

Who is Miguel Bermundo?

Miguel is the Head of CSR in Globe Telecom and oversees volunteering programs in the company. He also runs his own NGO called Dream Big Pilipinas, which helps kids in disadvantaged communities through sports development and values formation. 

Who is Bea Ebriega?

Growing up having the mindset of an athlete, Bea is surely a great representation of disciplined and versatile individual. She was a captain of the lawn tennis team in College of St Benilde, an aspiring Broadway performer, an event host, a wedding singer and an activity community volunteer.

Where is the talk going to be held?

• The talk is going to be held at the Stage Area of the Glorietta Activity Center.
• The Glorietta Activity Center is located at the Glorietta 2 Palm Drive entrance. Infront of Bench.

What do I need to do?

• Be among 100 individuals to participate in an intimate discussion about volunteerism through the eyes of Susan, Miguel and Bea.
• Invite your friends and family to also join the talk, as well as visit the advocacy areas found throughout the Go Volunteer Expo

Is there a fee for the event?

• Nope! The talk is for free! You can also check out and sign up for other talks scheduled for the weekend.

How do I pre-register for this talk?

• When you click on Volunteer, you are already confirmed for this scheduled talk
• You will be receiving reminders via email prior to the scheduled event
• If you cannot attend, please unjoin from the event to give the slot to other interested volunteers.
