Volunteer Event
Hello people of Christ,
Grain Foundation for PWD Inc. are opening a new livelihood program for the parents of our PWD students. Some of them only knew simple or basic sewing method. The parents are planning to sell t-shirts, tote bags, wallets and pouches. The income will help them for their daily needs and also to support their children. The parents are looking for a sewing teacher or instructor who can guide them in making the said items. We hope that some can volunteer can share their skills with the parents.
PURPOSE: The parents will be motivated to support their children and they will build their self-confidence.
SCHEDULES: Parents and volunteer teacher will meet in their most convenient time
THINGS TO BRING:
- materials for sewing (thread, needle, scissors)
- packed lunch
- paper
- ballpen
- 2 valid IDs
