About us
MovEd is a non-stock, non-profit organization founded in 2012. It opened its first Learning Lab (classroom) in Barangay Tanza, Navotas under the leadership of, and in partnership with Mayor John Rey Tiangco, and Habitat for Humanity Philippines. The organization aims to bring early childhood education care and development programs to children, and their families in underserved communities around the Philippines.

When: August 3, 2018 (Friday)
Time: 9:30-12nn
Suggested attire: Shirt, jeans, sneakers
Things to do before going: attend a short meeting prior to the event on July 27, and prepare ingredients for the feeding
What to bring: water, extra shirt, apron, and ingredients for the meal
How many kids will be fed: 55
Total approximate cost of ingredients: P700.00 (Each person must pay P140 each)
Why do we need your help?
In MovEd we encourage our MovEd parents and kids to adopt a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle, as we strongly believe that a healthy body can help the development of a healthy mind.
Recipe and ingredients: Adobong SItaw: Serves 4 (estimated cost is P48 at market price)
Ingredients:
1 bundle sitaw
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp white vinegar
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, diced
tofu
oil
Instructions
1. Sautee the garlic and onions in a little oil until onion is clear
2. Add the sitaw. Splash a bit of water to steam the beans
3. Add the soy sauce, vinegar and tomatoes
4. Stew until the beans are soft
5. Adjust the taste by either adding more soy sauce or vinegar.
5. Serve with rice
Notes:
1. Before event: Volunteers must attend a short meeting on July 27, 2018 at our office located at Rm 806, Vicente Madrigal Building, Ayala Ave., Makati City. Time of the meeting to be announced.
2. Event day: Volunteers must be at the venue by 9:15 am at the latest.
3. Volunteers can begin preparing and cooking at 9:30am. Food will be served at 11:30am
