3 months minimum duration for that mission
The volunteer will work under the supervision of the House Parents, in coordination with the Magellan Learning Center team.
2 goals:
- To teach the children
- To support the children about what they learn in formal school
The teacher can follow the progression of the target goals sheet (list of all the objectives to reach within the school year).
But he/she must remain flexible as the lessons must stick as much as possible to what the children are currently doing in formal school, in order to give the child a real support for formal school.
Hence, it is also in the mission of the teacher to get information about what the children are doing in formal school. The documents about the formal school programs are available, and they are quite strictly followed by formal school teachers.
