Non-Formal Education tasks
- Satisfy the affectionate needs of the children (by considering that you are only staying for a short period)
- Propose different recreational activities, adapted to the physical and intellectual needs of the children while respecting their personal desires
- Put in place daily routines (nursery rhymes, singing, story reading…)
- Alternate collective (2 by 2 or group games) and individual activities
- Prepare schedules for common weekly activities
- Take care of the different materials at disposal in collaboration with the team
- Write a logbook to assure a continuity with the future volunteers
Others
- Have a good relationship / communication with the staff
- For questions and concerns always talk to the lead parent, caregivers or the social worker (and the volunteer coordinator if necessary)
- Help with the creation of sponsorship cards (for Easter, Christmas, etc.)
Education
Diplomas as pediatrician, nurse, early childhood educator animator, caregiver... appreciated
Work Experience
- Experience with young children
