BKP conducts training for public school teachers, usually in the provinces. when we leave the training site, one hope is that the teachers implement the reading programs.
BUT they do need help in developing program materials. since most of them do not have internet access, it is difficult to look for program materials. so we decided to search for these materials, print & bind them, and bring them on training to leave with the teachers. they will then use the materials throughout the school year.
RESEARCH will be done online, and can be done at home. we will be looking for vocabulary games, word activities, reading journal prompts, reading activities, reading & writing lesson plans. there has to be close coordination among the volunteers to avoid duplication.
