Role description: Create relevant online content (feature articles and news) that appeal to the volunteer community and the general public.
Responsibilities:
As the Correspondent
- Schedule the interview with interviewee
- Document the interview
- Create the feature article, have it reviewed, and address issues and requests for revision
As the Social Media Content Leader
- Provide the list of volunteers to be interviewed
- Review articles submitted
As the Channel Owner
- Publish the stories to the respective channels following the iVolunteer branding and channel specific strategies.
Competencies required:
1. Good written communication both in Filipino and English
2. Has experience in marketing, publications are preferred
3. Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
4. Works effectively in a virtual organization with a startup culture
5. Is professional and accountable as a volunteer
6. Is actively leveraging or willing to be active in Facebook which is the main collaboration tool of iVolunteer
