Together with our partner, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, we are going back to Davao to supplement our classroom with a mini library! We will turn the unused space in the back of the classroom into a cozy mini library with mats, pillows and dozens of storybooks. We need volunteer coordinators based in Davao to make this happen.
What you will do:
coordinate with the school administration
procure materials for the building of the book shelves
procure mini library supplies
turn-over the mini library
conduct a post-activity evaluation
When: June 4 to June 16, 2018 (3 days on-site visit; flexidate)
Where: Malagos Elementary School - SPED Center at Malagos, Davao City
What to wear: We follow the dress code of the school which means no slippers and shorts.
