Every Saturday, Asuncion "Sister Siony" C. Villacarlos gather the kids of Growing Seeds of Christ at the UP Sunken Garden, DIliman, Quezon City to teach values and share children stories. These kids lives in "depressed areas" near UP Diliman. Usually, there are around 50-80 kids who come to the venue, so Sister Siony really needs volunteers! Volunteers will assist Sister Siony in teaching the kids. Children stories and other materials for the kids will be provided.
Aside from the learning activities, part of the advocacy of the Growing Seeds of Christ is to fight hunger. With this, we will appreciate if you could bring any food donations (i.e rice, canned goods, noodles). You are also free to pledge additional funds or become a sponsor.
