Christmas Party for Hundreds of Kids in Tondo, Manila

Children & Youth | Dec 22, 2017 | Volunteer Event

Christmas is a day of meaning and traditions.  But for families living in poverty, Christmas can be just an ordinary day or it could also be the saddest day.  And it has been our goal and a holiday tradition to ensure that the children and families in the communities we serve will also have a Christmas that is Merry and Meaningful.

Last year, we distributed more than 1,000 Noche Buena packs and at least 1,500 toys in Tondo and Bulacan. This year, we are targeting to reach out to even more kids and families.

Join us on December 22, 2017 as we share love and smiles to hundreds of kids in Tondo. We would need your help to facilitate the distribution and to serve as an "Ate/Kuya" for a day.

Venue: San Pablo Apostol Parish, Velasquez St, Tondo, Manila (Click here for map.)
How to commute to San Pablo Parish:
1. From LRT Tayuman station, take a jeep to Puregold Pritil.
2. From Puregold Pritil, take a tricycle to San Pablo Apostol, Velasquez Street. Most of the drivers are familiar with the name "Newland San Pablo." Take note that there is a smaller San Pablo church in the area so please make sure that you will be going to the one along Velasquez Street.

Call time: 7:00 am
Reminder: Wear red or green tshirt.

We ask all volunteers to first read our Child Protection Policy and Volunteering Guidelines before signing up. Thank you very much!
