Volunteer Event
We are inviting volunteers to participate on our tree planting in Mt. Balagbag. Mt. Balagbag is part of the Ipo Watershed, is located in the boundary of Rodriguez, Rizal and Norzagaray, Bulacan. Ipo Watershed is one of the source of drinking water in Metro Manila. We also want to introduce the reforestation and tree nurturing in the area. It is a FREE tree planting event.
We do not charge the volunteer. It is a KKB or Kanya kanyang Bayad System Event.
Cost to be incurred as follows
1. Transportation from Tungko to Licao licao terminal P 27.00 one way (54 vice versa)
2. Barangay Fee P 10.00
3. Entrance Fee to Mt. Balagbag P 20.00

When : August 6, 2017
ITINERARY
6:00 am Meet up in Jolibee Tungko
6:30 am Walk to Lical licao terminal
7:00 am Departure from Licao licao terminal
7:30 am Arrival at Licao licao terminal and Orientation
7:40 am Start trek to Mt. Balagbag
9:00 am Arrival at Mt. Balagbag and start tree planting
10:00 am Done tree planting and start trek descend
11:30 am Arrival at Licao licao terminal, Wash up and take lunch
THINGS TO BRING:
- water
- packed lunch (or you may buy at Licao licao terminal store)(support local eco tourism)
- extra change clothes
-shovel
-gloves
-raincoat or umbrella
-armcover
-personal medicines
SUGGESTED ATTIRE:
We suggest you to wear trekking shoes or sandals and light clothing.
You may also wear long sleeves and jogging pants (leggings) to protect yourself from heat and other environment hazzard.
