Be part in designing the future of 100 kids from Virlanie Foundation.
In celebration of our 10th year as an organization, we have our annual big event called Career Day. Career Day's main objective is to activate each child's dream profession through demonstrative forms and illustrations.
We will highlight 8 main career professions based on survey on most preferred future jobs by the kids. The 8 professions are: Doctor, Police, Teacher, Lawyer, Businessman, Fashion Designer, Social Worker and Chef. Invited professionals will simulate what they do through a short skit that will include the participation of the volunteers and kids. Once all performances are done, the kid will pick their dream career. Through an art activity, they must build an object to signify their choice. Volunteers will be the kuyas and ates of the kids as they go through the activities prepared for Career Day. Volunteers may be paired to a kid or with a group of kids depending on the number of volunteers who show up.

Our Beneficiary: The Virlanie Foundation, Inc. is the largest private non-sectarian child caring institution in Metro Manila, Philippines. The foundation serves children found living in the streets as well as those referred by other institutions. Virlanie works to prevent the future physical and psychological abuse of children. It envisions empowered children see a brighter future for themselves. It cares for more than four hundred (400+) children in its twelve (12) homes and eight hundred (800) children through its outreach programs. Fee also covers other incidentals (venue rental, artist fee, sound system, prizes, gift for kids, etc).
