The Madaris Volunteer Program is a long term (10-11 months) volunteer service program dedicated to an active “apostolate of presence”. Volunteers act as teachers in selected integrated madaris (Islamic schools) in the Bangsamoro. They teach DepEd mandated subjects and share their personal experience of Muslim homes and communities in the Philippines to promote and increase insight into, understanding of, and solidarity with Filipino Muslim individuals, families and communities.
