Volunteer Event
Edicute Incorporated, a nonprofit volunteer organization committed to promote education amongst Filipino indigenous peoples will conduct its annual Christmas Outreach titled "Edicute Ang Pasko: A Christmas Outreach for the Mangyans" on 10-11 December 2016 at Brgy. Panaytayan, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro.
Here is your chance to bring Christmas cheer to the Mangyans in Mindoro! Let's make the Christmas spirit alive in the homes of 200 Mangyan families and 300 children in Brgy. Panaytayan.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Join us and volunteer to help us implement the Christmas outreach. We need 15-20 volunteers to cook and distribute food (feeding program), story tell, take and print photos, conduct games and other activities for the kids, among others.
- Send your cash donation to cover for the Christmas packages* to be distributed to 200 Mangyan family beneficiaries, food supplies for the feeding program and materials to be used for the activities for Mangyan kids during the outreach.
- Provide in-kind donation like canned goods, cookies, old clothes and toys, storybooks and school supplies - anything useful will be appreciated.
- Tie up any of your upcoming official races through our various initiatives i.e. Run for Pencils, Bike for Pencils, and Tri for Pencils to help us raise funds for the outreach. Or help us in ways you can!
